Two of the most important monasteries of Thessaloniki are located one built in the center of the city, next to Aristotelous Square and the other in the citadel. In the first case it is for the male monastery of Agia Theodora on Ermou Street and in the second for the Monastery of Vlatada, near the gate of Eptapyrgio, the precinct of which offers a stunning view of the port.
